Lotta catching up to do with the blog. Soccer has started, cub scouts have started you name it. Labor day camping at Nolin was awesome. It was by far the most relaxing camping trip yet. We are still trying to figure out what came over the kids that weekend but there was no fighting no bickering no nothing. Just playing and having fun. We just couldn't get over it and hope that it happens again. ;o)
Boating season has came to an end as far as playtime goes. We put away all the gear for tubing and such so now deerhunter can have the boat for fishing. LOL I don't know if I blogged about it or not but poor deerhunter has been hit by the I'm getting older truck. The day that we went to Kings Island he hurt his right arm and shoulder. That was 3 weeks ago and he is still trying to get straightened out. He's been seeing a chiropractor now and is seeing some improvement but when he tried to pull his bow back today no luck. He doesn't have enough strength in his arm to do it. He's devastated but the chiro says he can get him back in shape to hunt.
Wildman is doing great. School has it's ups and downs but he did get a smiley face today. We had a yard sale over the weekend and for some unknown reason (Dr. Doolittle) he has been going on about a guinea pig. So with his yard sale earnings and birthday monies we went to the ville Saturday night and he got himself a guinea pig. Very cute little booger and sweet too. His name is Alvin. Deerhunter about stroked out when I told him what we had gotten but Alvin is starting to grow on him too. The cat would like to have him for a snack and the dogs just don't know what to think about it. Wildman thinks that Alvin loves watching TV so he sits on the couch with us watching the tube at night. It's quite comical to say the least.
Except for Deerhunter working 7 days a week all is just ducky around the house. It's hard not having him here all the time and being able to share in the joys of soccer practice and den meetings. It bothers him missing out more than it bothers me to have to do it all. Hopefully one day we'll get to experience a new normal for us. Everyone on the same schedule. :o)
***I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out what Wildman is doing on the bank. hehehe****
