Here we go into a new year. Hopefully this one won't go by as fast as the last one. This year I'm going to do something a bit different. Everyone liked having the blog to keep up with what was going on with us so I'm going to keep up with that, but there may not be a picture everyday. I'll just go ahead and prep you up front. :o)
Last night we rang in the new year with our friends. There were about 20 adults and 40 kids. LOL Not really but it sure did seem like that many kids. They had a blast. Wild Man had been trying to get us to set the clocks up to 6:30 all day so we could leave. The kids went strong until well after midnight and we headed home around 1:00am or so. Luckily we were only 10 minutes from home so Wild Man was in bed and asleep by 1:30. You'd think he would have slept in but Oh, no. Not Wild Man. He was up by 8:00am and raring to go. Him and Deer Hunter went out and played in the woods and whatnot today while Aunty Jo and I went to my Granny and Popals house to go through what was left. They have some renters lined up so everything has to be out and the painters are coming tomorrow to start stripping paper and painting. Wild Man has been in his room watching Star Wars and we got ready to fix plates for dinner and found him crashed in the bedroom floor in his sleeping bag. Great gift by the way A & J!! He hasn't slept in his actual bed since Christmas. LOL
So now Deer Hunter and I are hanging out trying to figure out what to do with the rest of the evening. There's nothing on the TV but football and while that's fine with hubby, it's not going to fly with the wife. hehehehe
So stay tuned and we'll see what happens in 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
